Rojek Ji Rojên Evdalê Zeynikê ("A Day from the Days of Evdalê Zeynikê") is the novel about the life of the legendary Kurdish Dengbêj Evdalê Zeynikê. In this work, Evdal's life is described by Ehmedê Fermanê Kîkî. With patience, perseverance, and sensitivity, he brings Evdalê Zeynikê's life to light anew—through words, stories, and imagery that he has drawn from his inner treasure chest.

Through the narrator's words, we learn that Evdal's voice was able to prevail over wind and storm, lightning and thunder. It was like the rays of the sun spreading over the earth and dispelling the darkness.

In this work, we also encounter the centuries-old legends of Kurdish culture and literature, the immortal love of Siyabend and Xecê, and we become both listeners and readers of this great tale.
