Dewrêşê Evdî

“Dewrêşê Evdî” is a national and timeless Kurdish epic.
In 1985, the Celîl family recorded a complete version of the epic in Efrîn, as recited by Ehmedê Nasirê Şemê, who preserved it in its most authentic oral form.

His command of language and powerful, expressive recitation give the epic its distinctive depth, marking it as one of the true masterpieces of Kurdish oral literature.
